Sustainable Wastewater Solutions
Under the natural biological cycle, human waste degrades into humus and plant nutrients that maintain soil fertility. This cycle is broken by centralised systems that transport sewage offsite to a treatment plant, that then discharges to water bodies like our seas, rivers and lakes. The result is algal blooms from excess nutrients and death of aquatic life, along with reduced soil fertility. Not breaking the biological cycle means treatment and disposal to land using onsite decentralised treatment.

Contact me for advice and design options for low cost on-site domestic wastewater treatment systems that are environmentally friendly and recycle human waste to retain soil fertility and a productive land use: humus as a soil amendment and surface irrigation for recycling of nutrients.
